VANILLA & ROSE BATH SALTS

IMG_3179IMG_3163IMG_3168IMG_3171IMG_3165When I come home sore and exhausted from a hard work out and long day in the office, all I can think about is a way to destress from my day. One thing that immediately relieves and relaxes me is a hot bath. A glass of wine, some good music and a little scented soak and I’m in heaven.

I like to make my own epsom salt mix and keep a jar handy for my bath time. I usually use lavender, eucalyptus or peppermint but with Valentine’s Day around the corner, I thought it might be nice to play with two of my favorite girly scents, vanilla and rose. This subtle combination smells so delish and only takes about two minutes to whip up. Decorate a pretty little mason jar of this concoction and you have a great homemade gift for your best gals! Here’s the recipe…

Ingredients:

2 Cups Epsom Salt

1/2 Cup Baking Soda

20 Drops of Vanilla Essential Oil

10 Drops of Rose Essential Oil

1/4 Cup of Dried Rose Petals

Instructions:

Mix all ingredients in a medium or large bowl.

Store in an air tight container.

Use up to 1/4 Cup per bath.
