It’s pretty safe to say that I’m obsessed with Palm Springs. I usually visit a good 4 times a year. My mother has recently moved there, so that number has increased to about 10 times this year. I’m certainly not complaining. My trips are generally pretty quick, but I have become a pro at packing in the fun and relaxation. This past weekend I stayed at Colony Palm Hotel, it’s so quiet, peaceful and becoming my favorite place to stay in the desert. It’s just so gorgeous, I think I’m hooked.
Like I said, this trip was short but my mini vacation was just what I needed. I laid by the pool (then jumped in it so I didn’t melt), road the hotel community bikes (only across the street because it was too damn hot), had a delish dinner with some of my besties at Mr. Lyons (also had ice cream for dessert to cool down) and then had a great brunch with more friends the next day (which was inside of course). The one thing I didn’t get to do was go to the spa, but have no fear I have already booked another trip out there for August. Massage and facial are already scheduled!
I LOVE PALM SPRINGS! (Even when it’s 149 degrees outside.)
